Eduardo Afonso

My name is Eduardo Afonso and I am the CEO and founder of Nordic Surrogacy.
I decided to start Nordic Surrogacy after my own surrogacy experiences in Thailand in 2014 as a single parent. I then realized that I had a great opportunity to offer other intended parents the support I had lacked, ranging from advice about the legal implication to doing the process at a regulated destination.
An important aspect of the work we do is to create awareness about the surrogacy process. I work actively to inform and educate around surrogacy and egg donation conversations with politicians, organizations and the media.
The biggest lesson from my own journey is that you, as an intended parent, must be open to the challenges you encounter and that they are unique to your journey. Enter your surrogacy process with respect and trust to all parties involved.
